Mole Mapping

Mole Map is the world's most advanced melanoma surveillance programme and monitoring.

What happens during a MoleMap?

Mole Map patients undergo total body digital imaging by our trained nurse and archived on the mole map computer system to create a baseline reference. Utilising skin surface microscopy, each irregular lesion is digitally imaged, archived and linked to its relevant location on the body. These images are of an extremely high resolution, involving dermoscopic lighting with a magnification of 30x to record the microscopic structure of the lesions. Dr. Ahmadi would see all patients initially and follow up visits with full general skin exam and review of all images.

We use this technology to monitor any at risk moles.
